Munster coaching duo of Jerry Flannery and Felix Jones have both signed two-year contract extensions with the province.

Flannery will assume the additional role of forwards coach, while Jones will take on the role of backline and attack coach.

Following retirement from playing and a stint in the strength and conditioning, Flannery joined Munster's coaching staff as scrum coach just over two years ago.

Jones too is a former player with the Irish province and the pair helped guide Munster to the PRO12 final and the Champions Cup semi-final this year.

Jones is currently working with the Ireland coaching ticket for the final summer tour game against Japan at the end of the month,
