Former NFL star reportedly dies of heart attack at 32

Former NFL linebacker Quentin Groves has reportedly died following a heart attack.

Groves, who was just 32-years-old, spent seven years in the NFL playing for numerous sides, most notably the Raiders, Cardinals, Titans, and the Jacksonville Jaguars, who picked him as no.52 in the second round of the 2008 draft.

Groves, who starred for Auburn at college level and equalled their career sack record, is thought to have died in his sleep during a family vacation for his daughter's birthday Trinidad, his wife's home-country.

The Mississippi native had previously suffered from Wolff-Parkinson White syndrome, which can cause a rapid heartbeat, and was forced to undergo surgery to treat the problem before being cleared to play in the NFL in 2008 where he recorded 175 tackles, two interceptions, and 9.5 sacks.
