French coroner's report finds Anthony Foley passed away due to a heart rhythm disorder

A French coroner's report has found that Anthony Foley died due to a heart rhythm disorder.

The coroner found that cardiac arrhythmia led to a fatal lung condition.

The Munster and Ireland rugby legend was found dead in his hotel room in Paris on Sunday, before the province were due to face Racing Metro in a European Champions Cup match.

The Irish Times reports that a burial permit has been issued by the French authorities.

Anthony Foley's family have confirmed that his remains will be flown to Shannon airport tomorrow.

His remains will lie in repose at St Flanan's Church in his home town of Killaloe on Thursday evening.

Funeral mass will take place on Friday.
