It was billed as an emotional day for Munster rugby and it certainly lived up to expectations.
The province produced one of their all-time great performances to overcome Glasgow Warriors 38-17 at Thomond Park and, despite being reduced to 14 men, ran out bonus point winners over their Pool 1 rivals.
Ahead of the game, the number 8 was retired and CJ Stander instead lined out as number 24 in respect to the late Anthony Foley.
Passion, commitment, determination and aggression were all on show this afternoon in a particularly poignant game in Europe.
