A fifth minute stoppage time goal from Eoin Cadogan secured the Co-Op Superstores Munster senior hurling League title for Cork today.

The decisive score capped off a Cork comeback from two points down in the concluding moments of the game to continue their winning start to 2017.

Both sides led throughout the tie with Limerick building up a four-point lead in the second half. Five unanswered points saw Cork steal the advantage.

A Diarmaid Byrnes free put the Shannonsiders back in front before Cadogan cracked home the goal that would settle the tie.
