Gary Neville has come out to say that he has no intentions of seeking a term as manager of Manchester United in the future.
The former prodigious talent of the famed 'Class of '92,' was capped 602 times for United and played a prominent role in their acquisition of the Treble in 1999. After departing the Theatre of Dreams, the 40 year-old took up punditry with Sky Sports where his incisive and clever analysis of games, quickly endeared him to a new generation of soccer fans.
I hope they find a good replacement for Neville on MNF, the banter between him and Carragher was so funny https://t.co/6CsNfhuQMI

He has since made the unexpected move into professional management and is the current boss of the Spanish side Valencia which compliments his role as part owner at Salford City along with a few other United legends.
These developments have propelled Neville into contention as Louis Van Gaal's successor when, and if, his time at Old Trafford comes to an end.
United suffered defeat twice this week, after a 2-1 loss to Bournemouth yesterday compounded their pain of crashing out of the Champions League competition earlier in the week.
Please resign from managing Valencia and come back @GNev2 I can't deal with this for much longer https://t.co/T1q3bC1gSq

And although there are no immediate plans to remove Van Gaal, the bookies are casting the spotlight on the former England international as the best contender for the position. Neville however, says he won't be pursuing a managerial role at Old Trafford.
