Golden State Warriors win their 41st straight home game with victory over Oklahoma

There's no doubting that the team to beat in the NBA this year is Golden State, and last night they once again proved too strong for the opposition.

With a victory over Oklahoma City Thunder, they recorded their 41st consecutive home win, with Steph Curry putting up 26 points, an average performance after his stellar 51 points showing earlier this week

With that win, the Warriors have now beaten the three teams behind them in the standings, but after comprehensive victories over San Antonio and Cleveland, it was a closer affair this time around as they claimed victory by a score of 116-108.

Speaking to Yahoo after the game, Curry said "this was very playoff-like for sure. The atmosphere, just the intensity, the adrenaline down the stretch. That's what you expect for sure. It was good to get that feeling and execute".

The Warriors are on course to set several records if they can stay on their current run, after last night matching the best ever record for the first 50 games of the season as they went 46-4. With just three more victories, they could also equal the record for most home wins in a row, which would dethrone the 1995/96 Chicago Bulls.
