Good news for Munster's Donnacha Ryan

Munster's Donnacha Ryan has been named to start for the A side in tomorrows clash with Ulster Ravens in Nenagh.

The second row is recovering from a foot injury that has kept him out for almost a year.

Ryan had to undergo surgery on a toe injury at the end of September to try and cure a long-standing problem.

That was due to keep him out for four to six months.

Off The Ball guest presenter Brian O'Driscoll recently said Munster had been badly missing the player's presence in the pack:

"They've missed Donnacha Ryan enormously this year. I know Dave Foley has stepped up to the plate in some games and gotten some caps for Ireland but Donnacha Ryan brings Munster to Munster."

Meanwhile, out-half Paddy Jackson has been included in the Ulster Ravens' starting side for the first time since January, when he dislocated his elbow in Ulster's European Champions Cup clash with Toulon.
