Two-time All-Ireland-winning former Meath star Graham Geraghty says that Kieran McGeeney's future as the Armagh manager now hangs on his side's performance during the All Ireland qualifiers.

Armagh's heavy defeat to Cavan in yesterday's Ulster quarter-final was the talking point of the Championship weekend as Cavan have now advanced to a provincial semi-final against Tyrone in what is a repeat of their Division 2 League final.

In his column in The Irish Sun, Geragthy says that its "hard to see where Armagh can pick things up" from that performance.

"Kieran McGeeney is under serious pressure and he hasn’t done a lot with the Orchard County since he took over," he wrote.

"It’s not a good place to be and the pressure will be on. McGeeney’s future will be decided on how they fare in the qualifiers."
