"We cant allow them to humiliate us again"

Those are the reported words of Zinedine Zidane, speaking to his players earlier this week ahead of Saturday's game with Barecelona. The humiliation Zidane speaks of is the 4-0 loss the team suffered to the Spanish champions in the Bernabeu in November.

Graham Hunter was speaking on Thursday night's Off The Ball looking ahead of the game and he feels Zidane's side are a different proposition of opponents away from home. He cites a lack of "intensity" on the road. "They have had it at the Bernabeu, but noticeably not had on the road."

Former Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon has spoken during the week about how a win for Real Madrid can put them back in the title race, despite a seven-point gap to Barcelona.

Hunter thinks the Real's title hopes are long gone, but a potential Champions League clash against the sides in the coming weeks and months should be in the back of Zidane's mind. "All his players need to leave the Camp Nou with an absolute belief that if they are drawn in a semi-final or final, the can believe they can win"

Real Madrid have lost four of the last five league battles between the sides including the 4-0 loss earlier this season. Hunter is expecting a reaction from the side as Zidane is "jabbing at their pride".

It is only in the early stages of Zidane's managerial career but it may be an important one for the future, Hunter claims. "We will discover about Zidane just about as much, in coaching, strategic and tactical terms as we have done since he took over."
