Ireland scrum coach Greg Feek has hailed the team spirit among Ireland's touring squad in Japan and America.

Joe Schmidt's side have recorded two comfortable wins so far on tour despite missing a host of front-line players currently involved on the Lions tour in New Zealand.

"There's a good team spirit here at the moment," he said, adding: "There's guys working hard and working up a sweat today, and off the pitch, there's a lot of fun and the boys are tight, so definitely putting the work in.

"There's a bit of sore legs from the weekend and it was hard work out, and it was hot.

"We worked on our defence and set-pieces, so it's a good physical day, looking at some of our core roles and trying to get some rhythm from last week, and work on some repairs from last week as well.

"Hopefully we can improve our performance, which we always want to do."
