Harry Redknapp in talks over taking Derby County role

Ex-Tottenham and West Ham boss last managed QPR

It s widely reported that Harry Redknapp is in talks with Derby about becoming director of football.

He has not worked since resigning as manager of QPR last year and BBC Radio Derby say the Rams have turned to the ex-Tottenham, West Ham and Portsmouth boss to take a role within the club,

Darren Wassall is in charge of the Championship promotion contenders, following the sacking of Paul Clement in February.

Derby are fifth in the second tier, six points off Middlesbrough who occupy the final automatic qualifying spot.
