There is one statistic doing the rounds to show just how easy Bayern Munich have had it domestically over the past few seasons.
Ever since manager Pep Guardiola succeeded Jupp Heynckes, Bayern had not lost a league game prior to the winter break.
That's until this weekend when third-placed Borussia Monchengladbach defeated his team 3-1.
Even though it still leaves Bayern well clear at the top of the German league by five points, Off The Ball's European football analyst Ben Lyttleton says it does show a weakness that has occasionally reared its head since Pep took charge - particularly in Champions League semi-finals.
"The problem that Bayern had in this game is they went behind and they didn't really know how to respond and this is something that is an issue under Guardiola, simply because Bayern are so dominant domestically, it's almost like what is happening with PSG. When PSG get a very difficult game in the Champions League in the quarters or in the last-16 - the issue is they're not used to playing to that level of competition and so they worry about how they can cope at the top, top level," said Ben.
"Bayern can cope against the best opposition except when they go behind, they carry on playing their same game. There's no Plan B."
