League campaigns come to a close this weekend, with the cream of the crop descending on Croke Park for the National League finals.

On Sunday, Dublin and Kerry will meet at Croke Park for the first time since last summer when Jim Gavin's side staged a remarkable comeback to beat the Kingdom in the All-Ireland semi-final.

Kerry had led by five points at half-time, but Dublin reeled in their Munster counterparts and booked their place in the All-Ireland final against Mayo.

Kildare will take on Galway for Sunday's curtain raiser at Croke Park. The game is a repeat of the final Division 2 fixture of the season, with the Tribesmen clinching victory by a solitary point.

Tipperary secured their promotion to Division 2 with a late goal against Armagh last weekend and face Louth in the Division 3 final on Saturday evening.

Before this, Westmeath face Wexford in the Division 4 showpiece.

This week, spoke to Kildare legend Johnny Doyle about the impact Cian O'Neill has had since taking charge of the Lilywhites and whether or not Kildare are ready for the challenge of Division 1.

Emmet Ryan also looks forward to the league finals, while Off The Ball's Eoin Sheahan looked back at the rise of Colm Cooper after the Kerry stalwart announced his retirement from inter-county GAA this week.
