Chelsea to face Spurs in FA Cup semis after seeing off Man United

Chelsea are the fourth and final side into the semi-finals of this season's FA Cup after winning a feisty encounter with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

The Premier League leaders held on for a 1-0 victory against Jose Mourinho's side, who had midfielder Ander Herrera sent off in the first-half.

The Spanish player was dismissed after picking up a second yellow card for a foul on Eden Hazard on 35 minutes to

Man of the Match N'Golo Kante is more known for his drive, work-rate, tackling and intelligence at the heart of midfield for Leicester last season and now Chelsea.

But the France international proved to be the difference on the scoreboard with the only goal of the game six minutes after half time.

It was an impressive finish from a player not known for his goals rate - although he did score against Man United in the 4-0 thrashing of Mourinho's side in the league earlier this season.

Kante found the bottom corner of the net with an effort that beat Man United goalkeeper David De Gea.

Chelsea now join Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City in the semi finals which will take place at Wembley.

The Blues were drawn against Tottenham, while Arsenal will face Manchester City on the weekend of April 22-23rd.
