Mickey Gall easily defeated CM Punk at UFC 203 earlier this month, yet earned over 16-times less than his opponent.

Punk was paid $500,000 to compete in his MMA debut. Gall (in his third professional fight) was paid $15,000, with another $15,000 for winning.

13 of the other 19 fighters on the card earned more than Gall. He was the lowest-earning winner of the night.

Speaking to MMAFighting.com, Gall has admitted he has no issue with Punk earning so much more as he's a "superstar".

"There's a reason why he's there. Without him, I'm not in that spot, either. It's cool. It's all good. I'm not mad at that, no way."

Despite Punk's loss, and Dana White's assertion that Punk's UFC career may be over, Gall thinks the former WWE Champion deserves another shot in the UFC.

"It brought a lot of WWE fans to watch, a lot of guys who wouldn't have been watching who like the violent stuff, who like this type of action, it brought them over."
