Huddersfield Town have become the 49th team to join the Premier League, after Monday's Play-Off win over Reading at Wembley.
David Wagner's side had one of the smallest budgets in The Championship, and finished 19th last year in the Division. Next season they will be among the game's elite.
While Huddersfield are minnows in the contemporary sense, they have one of the most storied histories in English football.
The team were as low as the third tier in 2012, and have returned to the top tier for the first time since 1972. In that period they have played in all three divisions of the Football League.
Huddersfield are three-time English champions, dominating the game in the early 1920s, winning three-in-a-row from 1924 to 1926.

Along with their historic run the the First Division, the club were FA Cup winners in 1922, being runners-up on a further four occasions. They also won the Charity Shield that year.
The only major English title to elude the club is the League Cup. In 1968, they reached the semi-finals losing to Arsenal. It remains their best performance in the competition.
While 'The Terriers' have been an afterthought in English football over the past few decades, the club have a pedigree of a top-flight team.
In next season's Premier League, eight of the 20 clubs will not have any top-flight titles to their name. Only seven have more titles than Huddersfield.
The club will be back where they feel they belong.
