Country's athletes could also be banned from Olympics
Kenya's athletics boss has been suspended by the sport's world governing body.
The IAAF says Isaac Mwangi has been punished over a potential breach of anti-doping rules.
He will be banned for 180 days while an investigation takes place.
"The independent IAAF Ethics Board (formerly Ethics Commission) has announced the provisional suspension of Mr Isaac Mwangi, CEO of Athletics Kenya, from all offices or positions in either Athletics Kenya or the IAAF in the interests of the integrity of the sport," they said in a statement.
"As was made public by the Ethics Board, this provisional suspension is for a period of 180 days starting on 22 February 2016, pending investigation of a complaint made against him and information that the IAAF Ethics Board has seen."
Kenya's athletes face the prospect of being barred from this summer's Olympics.
It comes after the country missed a World Anti-Doping deadline to prove it was doing enough to tackle cheating.
