Iain Henderson expecting a big performance against the Hurricanes

Iain Henderson is expecting everyone involved in Tuesday's match with the Hurricanes to give it everything they have as it might be the last time they ever pull on a Lions jersey.

The tourists are looking to build some momentum going into the second test after losing 30-15 on Saturday.

The Lions are due to take on the reigning Super Rugby champions in Wellington on Tuesday and Henderson believes the thought of playing for the Lions for the last time will be a huge motivating factor for the squad.

Speaking ahead of the match, the Ulsterman said: "More than likely, for most of the players playing, it'll be the last time they pull on a jersey for this tour - potentially the last time they ever pull on a Lions jersey.

"That in itself should be enough motivation irrespective of pushing for a test position, it'll make each individual dig down for a real good performance."

Henderson is one of four Irish players starting the match while Jared Payne is named on the bench.
