Ibrahimovic returned home last night to score against his boyhood club Malmo

Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned home to Malmo last night to score against his boyhood team, in the Champions League.

The PSG striker started his career at the Swedish side before moving to Ajax in 2001. He has always stated that Malmo are the team he has always supported.

Laurent Blanc's side recorded a comfortable 5-0 victory over their opponents last night with Ibrahimovic scoring the third goal. He chipped Malmo goalkeeper Johan Wiland early in the second half to ensure a comfortable last 40 minutes for the Parisians.

After the game, Blanc spoke about how special the night was for his Swedish striker. "It was a unique game so Thiago Silva asked me if Zlatan could be captain and we all agreed. It was special for him and we wanted to show that we understood that and supported him. We took Zlatan off because we wanted to give the crowd the chance to salute him since we had already won the game."
