Ireland's latest UFC fighter is about to make his debut a lot sooner than expected

Charlie Ward is now set to make his UFC debut on the Belfast card on November 19th.

Ward, who was originally scheduled to fight Randy Brown on December 9th in Albany, New York, has had his debut moved up to the Belfast card instead.

The 3-1 Welterweight's opponent has yet to be confirmed, but it won't be 8-1 Brown, who remains on the Albany card.

Unbeaten as an amateur fighter, the SBG product suffered his only loss as a professional during his debut at the hands of former BAMMA middleweight champ John Phillips before going on a three fight win streak.

Now looking to start his UFC career in the same fashion, Ward joins SBG teammate and fellow Conor McGregor training partner Artem Lobov on the card, with the Russian Hammer aiming to put back-to-back wins together as he faces Teruto Ishihara on the event's main card.

Dublin native and fan favourite Neil Seery will headline the undercard against no.4 ranked Flyweight Ian McCall in what will be the Team Ryano fighter's final professional bout, while the main card will be headlined by the Middleweight bout between Gegard Mousasi and Uriah Hall.
