Since the conclusion of the World Cup, Simon Zebo has consistently been linked with a move to Toulouse but it looks like another French club may beat them to his signature.
The Irish Examiner have today reported that the 25-year-old has held discussions with Stade Francais earlier this week. The Parisian side are the reigning Top 14 Champions.
Zebo's potential move to Paris is made more intriguing as Munster travel to the French capital next week in the Champions Cup to face Stade Francais.
The Cork native's contract with the IRFU runs out at the end of the season and he may look to move away from Ireland for a period of time ahead of the 2019 World Cup in Japan.
Zebo's father was born in Martinique and the Munster star speaks French to a high level meaning he should find it far easier to settle in France compared to other English speaking athletes who have made the move to the Top 14 in recent years.
