The League of Ireland has prided itself in recent years of sending its players cross channel for a successful career in England.
One player who many fans would not have expected to join that ever growing list is Michael Hector.
The former Dundalk centre joined the Louth side on loan in 2011 from Reading scoring two goals in the process, and it looks like the centre half could be on the verge of joining Chelsea in a multi million pound deal.
He made his international debut for Jamaica earlier this year and has made five appearances.
