"It's probably better than Dublin's forward line and that's saying something"

The provincial football finals are out of the way, and while Dublin remain strong favourites to retain their Sam Maguire it appears they may now have a clear challenger.

Enda McGinley joined OTB AM this morning to review the weekend's action, and McGinley feels that Kerry could be a danger due to the quality of their forward line.

While McGinley believes that their defence is yet to be tested, their forward line may be better than the one hailing from the capital.

"I've been mighty impressed. Similar to Donegal, you're watching them as a footballer and you can see players doing things of real quality that you just can't fake. For Kerry, that forward line, wow-wee. It is probably better than Dublin's forward line and that's saying something".

"The talent and variation they have, Geaney, O'Donoghue, and Clifford obviously. three very different players, then they've got O'Shea and O'Brien, they've so much talent and variation in their play that they're going to give a lot of headaches".

McGinley said that he'll have to see the Kerry defence face a tougher test than the one Cork mounted over the weekend, but noted the work rate of Kerry's forwards as a another big positive for the men from The Kingdom.

"As a Tyrone man I was delighted to see their forwards surrounding the Cork players, and the physicality of their tackling, it was something else to see".
