Jack Carty pays tribute to Bundee Aki as Connacht down Scarlets

Connacht secured a confidence-building 33-20 win over the Scarlets in Galway on Saturday thanks to tries from Tom Farrell, Cian Kelleher and Niyi Adeolokun.
Jack Carty also kicked seven from seven and speaking to Off the Ball's Oisin Langan after the game, he said: "I think it was important for us as a group ourselves after last week - it was quite disappointing.
"Obviously we let the Glasgow game out of our hands - we were in a very winnable position but we had pressure on ourselves coming in that we needed to give an 80 minute performance and I think we did that.
"There was questions asked of us last week and in terms of our discipline and other weeks about our defence but that has been improving every week.
"Our tackle shape is improving as well and I think against a quality team like the Scarlets and to put 30 points on them and keep them to 20 and maybe two of their tries were soft and off our own ill-discipline so it was really good for us to close out that win in the manner that we did.
"Bundee brings real energy to the group but there's lots of fellas in that position and Tom (Farrell) and Bundee came in this week and did a really good job but that's on the back of four or five other fellas there who are pushing.
"That was Tom and Bundee's first partnership today - last week you had Eoin Griffen and Kyle but I suppose what it is in the group is competition that other fellas drive each other on.
"Obviously what Bundee brings himself is energy and really accurately talks to me as a 10 and you saw there today - he gets you over the gain line and has the defence retreating so it's really good that he's come back in, full of energy and you saw today what he can do," he added.
