Jim Furyk has created some PGA Tour history at the Travelers Championship.

The American becomes the first golfer to shoot a 58.

The 2003 US Open winner had shared the previous record of 59 with six other players but has now created history all of his own.

He is also the first man to shoot two sub-60 rounds on the PGA Tour, thanks to today's 12-under 58 coupled with his previous 59.

"It's fun to break that barrier and be the first one," he told Sky Sports 4.
