Joe Hart isn't listening to the critics and insists: "I'm focusing on Torino"

Joe Hart says he is not paying attention to the critics and is focused only on himself as he continues to settle into life in the Serie A.

The England number 1 is spending the season on loan with Torino and has already fallen made a high profile error on his debut after flapping at a cross on his debut, resulting in his side conceding a goal.

Atlanta went on to win the game 2-1 after scoring that equaliser.

"Mistakes can happen," he said. "In Bergamo I was fine, I made a mistake, but my team-mates and the public have received me very well and I want to keep them happy.

"The president and the coaching staff have made me feel at home right away. [Coach Sinisa] Mihajlovic and I have a good relationship. This new experience excites me very much and I want to improve every day."

Hart was forced to look elsewhere for first team football after being told by new Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola that he did not have a place in his plans. The 29-year-old says he is happy with his current club.

"I know there is also Juventus in town, but Torino are one of the best clubs in Italy," said Hart. "I am very happy, this will be a great season."

Asked whether or not he could see himself back in Manchester after the season, he said: “Right now I’m at Torino and I will work for Torino."

"Everyone has their own opinions. Now I’m focused on Torino."
