"Brendan Rodgers is under pressure, there's no doubt about that.
"It was a bad season last season followed by another very bad start to the season. I don't think it would be a great surprise if he was sacked, especially if Jurgen Klopp is now available.
"He did a great job at Dortmund and there was talk about him at the end of last season that he might go to Liverpool and then he had a year off.
"But he's not had a year off and he's ready to go and get a job in the Premier League if it's available.
"So the sounds seem to be that he could well be employed by Liverpool because usually at this stage of the season, there aren't that many managers available and they stick with the manager's they've got.
"But in this case, if Klopp's available and Ancelotti is available, it could well happen. I wouldn't be surprised because the supporters at Liverpool are running out of patience.
"I think [Rodgers] went on too much, since he got the job, about his philosophy. I read an article last week, where he said he wanted his players to go forward, quick passing, entertainment, score goals and be tight at the back. But who doesn't want that?
"If that's the philosophy, every manager has that philosophy. But the problem is how to do it and I think he's gone on too much since he got the job about his philosophy. The philosophy is made up of the players at your disposal."
