Johnny Sexton suffers worrying injury ahead of Six Nations

Johnny Sexton was forced off the field of play in Leinster's European Champions Cup game against Wasps at the Ricoh Arena after suffering yet another head injury.

The Irish outhalf, who was captaining Leinster for the first time on his 100th start for the province, failed to return to the field after being taken off for a head injury assessment.

Sexton clashed his head with former Leinster player Brendan Macken early in the first half and was replaced by Cathal Marsh.

A potential concussion could leave Sexton in doubt for Ireland's opening Six Nations game against Wales on the 7th of February.

At half time the score is currently 15-10 in favour of Wasps with Eoin Reddan and Zane Kirchner touching down for the Blues but hosts are in front thanks to Joe Launchbury and Jimmy Gopperth tries, with Gopperth adding a conversion and a penalty to make the difference. You can folllow it here
