The Liverpool captain has picked up a knee injury and may also miss Euro 2016
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson will miss the rest of the season and is now a doubt for Euro 2016 after suffering a knee injury.
A scan has revealed that Henderson has done damage to his lateral collateral ligament during last night's 1-1 draw away to Borussia Dortmund.
Six to eight weeks is the expected absence for the 25-year-old, but the injury throws his participation in this summer's European Championships into doubt.
Henderson does not require surgery, only treatment and an intensive period of rehabilitation. Despite the positive prognosis that the damage is isolated only to his LCL, he will not play again for his club this season with a six-week recovery.
