Katie Taylor is due to make her professional debut tonight in London and has named Sofya Ochigava as her toughest opponent during her amateur days.

The bray native is due to face off against Karina Kopinska as part of "Big City Dreams" at the SSE Arena in Wembley.

Speaking to Newstalk.com after the pre-fight press conference on Tuesday, she said of Ochigava: “I’ve had a few battles with her. I boxed her in the final of the Olympic games in London and just having to deal with all that pressure and obviously she was also a quality operator so she is probably the best boxer I‘ve been in against…She’s also turned pro as well so that could be a fight in the future.”

After 15 years as an amateur and having achieved five consecutive world titles, six European titles and becoming Olympic champion in 2012, the world is watching to see what she can achieve in the paid ranks.

Taylor is due to fight on Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua's card in December and is being lined up to fight on a card on St. Patrick's weekend when middleweight superstar Gennady Golovkin is due to defend his titles.
