Keith Earls is on the verge of a move to England according to reports

Munster may be on the verge of losing Keith Earls to Saracens, according to reports this morning.

The Limerick native looks set to move to the Premiership giants according to the Irish Independent. The 28-year-old has spent his professional career with Munster.

Earls' potential departure would come as a huge blow to both Munster and Ireland. The Limerick native played in all of Ireland's World Cup games last year, and the news of his potential departure comes less than 24 hours after Leinster prop Marty Moore's move to Wasps was confirmed at the end of the season.

The Moyross native made his debut for Munster in 2007 against the Ospreys in Cardiff. He was also part of the Ireland Under-20s side that won the Grand Slam the same year.

With consistent reports of Simon Zebo moving to France in the summer, head coach Anthony Foley may be already on the look-out for potential replacements for his two Ireland stars.

Earlier this month, Earls showed his value to Munster and Ireland, scoring an outstanding individual try in the Champions Cup defeat of Stade Francais.

The Irish Independent's Ruaidhri O'Connor broke the story this morning and he spoke to Newstalk Sport's Oisin Langan about Earls' potential move.
