Ex-Ireland captain discusses contract situations on Off The Ball
Keith Wood believes Simon Zebo's honesty regarding his provincial playing future is "refreshing".
The Ireland winger talked about the potential of staying at Munster or making a move earlier today and Keith gave his take on Off The Ball and the importance of looking at the bigger picture.
"I've been in this situation which makes it relevant. When you get your contract, you put them down and you can't think in the here and now for what your contract is - I'm not saying that for Simon Zebo - actually I have to say what he said, even though we may not say it, I think it is refreshing that he said it. I also think it's honest and a fair indication of where it would be," he said, as Ireland's former captain discussed the intricacies and challenges of contract situations with The Irish Times' Gerry Thornley on Wednesday night rugby.
The lads also looked ahead to a crucial weekend of action in Europe for the Irish provinces.
