Ken McGrath's autobiography is on the way and we are very excited about it

Ken McGrath is launching his autobiography in October and judging by the intense title he has chosen, it makes for an intriguing read.

The Waterford legend called time on his inter-county career in 2011 at the age of 33. A persistent knee injury forced the Mount Sion man to withdraw from the Deise following an illustrious career bookended by some towering performances at centre-back.

He played an integral part in Waterford's hurling revival during the early 2000's and was on the pitch for that famous Munster final against Cork in 2004 - arguably the greatest championship hurling game of all time.

McGrath will unfortunately be remembered as one of the game's greatest ever players to not win an All-Ireland medal.

But how does the man himself reflect on his 15-year inter-county career? The secrets will be unveiled in his book Hand On Heart, this October.
