Kevin Durant has no timetable to return

Golden State Warriors' star Kevin Durant has given no timetable as of yet for his return to action as the play-off season approaches.

Speaking to nba.com about the hyper-extended knee he suffered, he said: "It could have been a lot worse, I hurt my knee. A lot of guys go through this throughout a season, a lot of injuries. It's nothing for anybody to be concerned about. I got a boo boo playing basketball. It is what it is, man. So I'm OK. My spirits are good, my family's good, I'm doing what I love to do every single day."

Speaking about his recuperation and his possible return to the court, he said: "I'm not even thinking about that right now. I know that's what everybody wants to know or are wondering. Whenever my body tells me I'll be ready to play, that's when I'll be ready to play. I'm not really thinking too far down the line, I'm just worried about having a great day today and I look forward to having a good one tomorrow."

"Mentally I'm good, I'm in a good place," he said. "I'm not playing right now, which is tough because I love to play, but I'm getting better day by day and I'll be out there as soon as I'm ready to play," he added.

Golden State lead the western conference standings with a record of 52-12 although are being hotly pursued by the San Antonio Spurs who are two wins less well off.
