Khabib Nurmagomedov is not a happy man.
The unbeaten 28-year-old is the number one contender for Eddie Alvarez's UFC Lightweight title, but has been overtaken to a title fight by Conor McGregor.
It was announced overnight that the Dubliner will fight Alvarez at UFC 205. The event will be the first the UFC have held in New York City.
The Dagestani fighter took to Twitter overnight to voice his displeasure at the fight announcement, claiming he was "used" to make sure the McGregor-Alvarez fight went ahead.
I have two bout agreements that bullshit champ refuses to sign. I got used the whole time to make Conor and Eddie get on their knees and beg

Just for the record @Ealvarezfight and @TheNotoriousMMA fear me I'm just a man. Your time will come to get my hands on you

Nurmagomedov returned to the ring in April after a two-year absence. He defeated Darrell Horcher in two rounds, but has not yet been booked for another fight.
A professional since 2008, Nurmagomedov has won all 23 of his fights, with 15 of those coming inside the distance. He joined the UFC in 2012.
