LeBron James scores 39 as the Cavaliers continue Playoffs domination

Cleveland Cavaliers moved another step closer to their third NBA Finals in a row, after a comfortable 125-103 win over Toronto Raptors.

Last year's NBA champions now lead 2-0 in their Eastern Conference semi-final in the best-of-seven series. Cleveland remain unbeaten in the Playoffs with six wins in a row.

LeBron James top-scored once more, hitting 39 points in the win. He also moved up to second place in the all-time standings for most points scored in the NBA Playoffs. He passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (5,762 points) on the list and is now just over 200 points off Michael Jordan (5,987 points).

James was dominant once more in a Playoff match, scoring almost double the amount than Kyrie Irving (22) did. The 32-year-old has now scored at least 30 points in five of this year's six Playoff matches.

Cleveland now travel to Canada for Games 3 and 4. The series could end as soon as Sunday evening, if the Cavs win the next two games.

San Antonio Spurs levelled their Western Conference semi-final with Houston Rockets at 1-1 after a 121-96 win. Kawhi Leonard dominated the game scoring 36 points for the Spurs.

Despite the win, San Antonio suffered a major blow with Tony Parker suffering a leg injury and being carried off the court. No time frame has been set for the French star's return.

After the opening two matches in San Antonio, the series moves to Houston this weekend.

Thursday night sees Golden State Warriors return to action. They currently hold a 1-0 lead over Utah Jazz in the Western Conference. In the East, Boston Celtics travel to Washington Wizards, holding a 2-0 lead.
