Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been given a four-match touchline ban.
The suspension has been imposed after the Frenchman was sent to the stand during their recent Premier League win over Burnley.
Wenger pushed fourth official Anthony Taylor and refused to go down the tunnel after the incident.
He admitted charges of abusive language and improper conduct and has been fined £25,000.
Wenger had apologised immediately after the 2-1 win when speaking to the media and also discussed the incident in midweek.
"I’m big enough to know when I do well and when I do not do well. I am a passionate guy and I believe that I am completely committed in my job and want to win football games, like all the managers who work in the Premier League," he said in a press conference on Thursday.
The English Football Association confirmed the ban and the actions under consideration, saying: "It was alleged that in or around the 92nd minute, he used abusive and/or insulting words towards the fourth official.
"It was further alleged that following his dismissal from the technical area, his behaviour in remaining in the tunnel area and making physical contact with the fourth official amounted to improper conduct.
"The Arsenal manager, who was also fined £25,000, admitted the charge and requested a personal hearing which took place before an Independent Regulatory Commission today."
The ban means Wenger will not be on the touchline when Arsenal take on Premier League leaders Chelsea on February 4th.
