Leo Cullen admits Leinster can have no complaints about the manner of their defeat to Connacht in the Pro 12 final.
The Leinster head coach faced the media after watching his side lose 20-10 at Murrayfield and speaking of his disappointment, also tipped the hat to the opposition.
"Pretty gutted. Huge amount of respect for Connacht and what they achieved and the remarkable season that they've had. We've no complaints. We weren't good enough today which is probably the most disappointing thing. We didn't perform to the levels that we're capable of. But huge amount of credit to Connacht," he said, adding that it was an "incredible story" for Connacht.
"We just misfired a little bit around set pieces and just some of our ball control, particularly in that first half, we just coughed up the ball really cheaply. Connacht, on the flip-side of that, were incredibly clinical in taking the opportunities that they had and we had started off with reasonable intent, played in the right areas and then we misfired a couple of times at set piece and Connact as we know are very dangerous off that turnover ball."
