Lewis Hamilton sets himself up for Canada glory with pole position

He won last time out in Monaco

Lewis Hamilton will be on pole position for tomorrow's Canadian F1 Grand Prix.

After impressing  the world champion qualified fastest ahead of Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg, with Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel third quickest.

The Red Bull pair of Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen were fourth and fifth respectively around the Montreal circuit, ahead of the second Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen.

Hamilton, who won in Monaco last weekend, is 24 points behind Rosberg in the championship standings ahead of the race.
