Limerick florists are the unlikely beneficiaries of CJ Stander's good form

There has never been a better time to buy shares in Limerick florists.

It's been revealed they are the unlikely beneficiary of CJ Stander's success on the pitch. The Ireland international was named man-of-the-match in the Champions Cup clash with Racing 92 last weekend.

Stander is building a vast collection of trophies from his exploits on the field. So much so that his mantelpiece is regularly changed with the newest awards coming his way.

The reigning IRUPA Player of the Year and Rugby Writers' Player of the Year has seen a steady stream of awards enter his home during his time at Munster.

Speaking to the Irish Independent ahead of this weekend's game against Glasgow Warriors, Stander revealed the system he has to use to keep up with his increasing awards pile.

"I move the new ones in, the old ones go away to the garage for when I have room for them. Normally, [wife] Jean-Marie likes to fill them with flowers so I've started a system where I need to buy four bunches of flowers because there is four on the table at all times."

"Four bunches of flowers every week, it's costing me at this stage."

It's a fantastic situation to be in for Stander. Luckily for him, the Six Nations man-of-the-match receives a medal and not a trophy, making like a little easier, should he impress in the coming months in Irish green.
