Limerick hurlers win themselves a shot at early silverware

They beat Waterford tonight to set up a showdown with Clare

The Limerick hurlers have secured a place in the final of this season's Munster League tonight.

The Shannonsiders beat Waterford tonight at the Gaelic Grounds to set up a final against Clare.

A final score of  3-16 to 1-17 was enough for Limerick with David Reidy, Tom Morrissey and Kevin O'Brien getting their goals.

Austin Gleeson found the net for Waterford at the other end.
