Lincoln City hero Sean Raggett "lost for words" after victory

Sean Raggett was the hero for Lincoln City this afternoon, as his 90th minute header sent non-league Lincoln City into the quarter-final of the FA Cup.

Lincoln overcame Premier League side Burnley at Turf Moor and frustrated Sean Dyche's side to become the first non-league side to reach FA Cup quarter-final since 1914.

Speaking after the game, Raggett expressed his disbelief at the result and thanked the fans for their support.

"I'm lost for words right now, I can't believe it," he told ITV after the game. "It shows this group of boys are a special group.

"[Burnley] are a top quality side, they even drew here with Chelsea last week. To keep a clean sheet and win the game is amazing."

His header squeezed through a sea of bodies to cross the line and the 23-year-old admitted that he was stunned to score what turned out to be the winning goal.

"I didn't really know what to do for the celebration but the fans were amazing, I could hear them all through the game. They gave us a boost.

"We didn't come here for the occasion, we came here to win the game. We've proven that we can."

He added: "It's crazy. A non-league side in the quarter-final of the FA Cup in modern-day football. That's unheard of."
