The Irish St. Leger is the focus of Day Two at the Longines Irish Champions Weekend

After yesterday's excitement of the QIPCO Irish Champions Stakes, focus turns to The Curragh, and the second day of the Longines Irish Champions Weekend.

Eight races take place over the day, with three Group 1 races taking place this afternoon. The feature event of the day is The Palmerstown House Estate Irish St. Leger at 4.40pm.

€400,000 is up for grabs in the race, which runs just over a mile. Only six horses go to post in the day's featured race with Order Of St George starting as the heavily backed favourite. The four-year-old is looking to become the first horse to retain the title, since Vinnie Roe won four-in-a-row between 2001 and 2004.

The Goffs Vincent O`Brien National Stakes sees Churchill start as favourite. The two-year-old is unbeaten in its last three races.
