MK Dons striker produces brilliant penalty save

Alex Revell channelled the spirit of John O'Shea

MK Dons kept their slim hopes of Championship survival alive following a brilliant save from striker Alex Revell.

The Dons would be striker proved the hero of the day against Preston following a red card shown to goalkeeper Cody Cropper for pulling down an opposition player in the box. 

Revell came off the substitutes bench in the 67th minute to replace fellow striker Nicky Maynard in the hopes of nicking a winning goal, but instead had his John O'Shea moment. 

The game finished 1-1 as a result of Revell's heroics.
