Man charged with attempting to punch Crystal Palace's bald eagle mascot

Incident occurred in League Cup game

A man has been charged after an attempt was allegedly made to punch Kayla, the bald eagle mascot of Crystal Palace Football Club.

Daniel Boylett (35) of Mottingham in south east London will appear before magistrates on March 29th.

He has been charged with violent disorder and criminal damage.

Trouble broke out during Palace's League Cup game with Charlton at Selhurst Park in September.
