Manchester United fan from Sierra Leone gets FA Cup final ticket after Old Trafford abandonment

Fans of Premier League teams travel to games in England from all around the world on a weekly basis.

Almost always, do the games go ahead, but on some occasions there are last minute postponements as happened on Sunday in Old Trafford when Manchester United's game with Bournemouth was abandoned.

Moses, a Manchester United fan from Sierra Leone travelled to England to watch his first game in Old Trafford, and was heartbroken after the game's abandonment. His plight was first revealed by Manchester United fan Ian Stirling, who is also the vice-chairman of the Manchester United Supporter's Trust.

Manchester United fans got together and raised enough money for Moses to change his flights back to Freetown and stay in England for the FA Cup final next Saturday against Crystal Palace.

The game against Bournemouth has since been rescheduled for Tuesday night, so it looks like Moses will be able to take in two games when it looked like he may leave England empty handed.

The Manchester United fan spoke to BBC Radio Manchester moments after the game to speak about his experiences of the generosity given to him by United's fans.
