Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini lamented his side's loss of form and admitted that the club face "a little crisis".

United come off the back of three defeats in all competitions; their 2-1 home defeat in the Manchester Derby, a 1-0 defeat to Feyenoord in the Europa League midweek and Sunday's 3-1 defeat at Watford.

Jose Mourinho and his players have come in for some criticism for their performances, in particular Wayne Rooney who has struggled to impose himself on games this season.

"We can say it's a little crisis because a club like Manchester United cannot lose three games," Fellaini told SFR Sport, the French television channel.

"Yes it's low, but we are men and we must stand up together and show ourselves. To lose was a tough moment, but we must be ready to go again on Wednesday.

"United travel to face Northampton Town in a League Cup third round tie at Sixfields on Wednesday.

"We need to focus," he added. "At the moment heads are down but, as I said, we must stand together and fight and show that we are confident."
