The Ireland management team of Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane have both signed new deals to stay on with the Irish setup.

The news was confirmed on Friday afternoon as O'Neill named his squad for the games against Georgia and Moldova, with Conor Hourihane being called up for the first time.

The deal will see Keane and O'Neill through to the end of the current qualification campaign.

Speaking at the press conference, O'Neill said "I have signed a new deal," ending a speculation in the wake of the announcement that a deal had been agreed before the European Championships during the summer.

"I never saw it being an issue," said the Ireland manager, before adding that the rest of his team, including assistant manager Roy Keane, have also put pen to paper on the deal.

"It's signed and done, and Roy and the backroom staff have followed suit, so we're fine, we're really delighted."
