Martin O'Neill intends to give a couple of younger players a chance tonight

Ireland manager Martin O'Neill will wait until shortly before kick-off to reveal his starting team for tonight's international friendly with Switzerland.

But he has promised to give as many younger members of his squad as possible a chance to impress as Ireland rev up their preparations for this summer's European championships in France.

However, some experienced campaigners will also be involved.

"I think I've said before, I want a few senior players starting in the game naturally. But one or two, I think, that will be involved, at least one will start, maybe more and we'll naturally use them through the course of the game," he said.

Ireland's players will have another opportunity to impress at the Aviva next week when the Boys in Green host fellow Euro 2016 qualifiers Slovakia in a friendly.
